Week 4 Results
On behalf of the entire Board of Directors of the LP Sportmen’s Club, I’d like to Thank those who joined us for the dedication ceremony last week.
Despite the extreme winds, we still had some pretty decent scores this week. Preliminary results for week 4 are listed here.
Memorial Flagpole Dedication
On Wednesday, 5/13/09, a memorial flagpole will be dedicated at the club. This marker will honor the memory of past members of our club, recognizing their dedicated efforts and talents given to the club over the years.
Without the efforts of these past members, our club would not be what it is today.
Please join us at 7:00 pm on Wednesday for the dedication ceremony.
We’re getting closer!
We’ll be shooting in six weeks! The weather forecast is starting to look favorable and the snow is melting. Before you know it, the grass will be green, and the mosquitos will be back.
It looks like shooting prices will remain the same this year! Shell prices will be going up, but target prices will not.
The above link brings up a pdf file showing some information about the upcoming season. Print one off if you’d like – maybe hang one up in your local coffee shop, bait store, bowling alley, etc. Help us pass the word that we’d like people to come out and shoot.
Spring is just around the corner
…hopefully.
It’s the coldest morning of the year so far (-25), so I thought it would be a good time to think about trapshooting. We’re all patiently waiting for the middle of April.
We are always looking for new trap teams. Pass the word along to friends and neighbors that we are open for practice shooting every Wednesday night beginning in mid-April.
Look for our mailing soon.
